That One Crazy Night

This time of year is usually a time where families come closer together. But in this household that isn’t the case. Screaming and yelling as loud as we could. This day is going be the best because our family gets to watch our favorite football team play. We were acting like a bunch of fools, turning up the volume, screaming, and yelling. I couldn’t hear myself think. “Could this day get any crazier?” I thought.

Before the game we had a big meal. The smell was excellent Everything looked delicious, but the one thing that caught my eye was a rich, creamy chocolate cake that had whipped cream and sprinkles. When I got a piece I sat down at the kitchen table and devoured it.

The moment was finally here. I sat on the couch all worked up. I felt like I was at a wild crazy party. I waited and waited so anxiously. “I can’t wait for the game to start” my mom said. “Me and you both” I said. The commercials ended and I got excited. I knew the was going to get intense. There was a lot of time left and one of our players got injured trying to go for the ball. About half an hour left in the game and my whole family was getting excited. “Touchdown!!!” my dad yelled. We all started cheering.

The last 5 minutes are crucial. The game is tied and we have a chance to score. “Alright the ball is in play lets score this last point!” I shouted. “Run,run, run!!” my mom yelled. He made it just in time. We all started to scream, cheer, and yell

Through this experience I felt like my family and I grew closer together. Even if you don’t agree you can always work it out.
