My favorite part in the book Willow Creek Home is the part where the Jordans build their new cabin.This is my favorite part because their old house had dirt floors and this new house that Papa built has plank floors.Mina has always wanted plank floors she was thrilled when she walked into the cabin and walked on the plank floors.

I think people celebrate because of holidays or something special.Christmas is a holiday everyone needs to celebrate.Thanksgiving is another holiday everyone needs to celebrate.My family celebrates Christmas,Thanksgiving,Valentines Day,Easter,April Fools,and 4th of July.I also think people celebrate because a sibling/family member graduates or goes to college.Or when someone wins something like the lottery,The X Factor,or American Idol.People celebrate because of holidays or something special that a family member did or does.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Division is always simple.But the way I learned it is 52 and 2and we do DMSCBR witch means Divide,Multiply,Subtract,Compare,Bring down,ad Repeat.So you divide 5 and 2 witch means how many 2’s can you get out of 5.2 right so you put the  2 above the 5 then check off the D.Then you multiply 2 and 2=4 so you put the 4 below the 5 check off the M.then subtract 5 and 4=1 check off the S.Next you compare 1 and 2 check off the C.Then bring down the 2 check of the B.Then the last and final step is repeat so from there you do it all over again.Divide 12 and 2= 6 so you put the 6 next to the 2.Then you multiply 6 and 2=12.Then subtract 12 and 12.Now compare.Now multiply to check.

For multiplication I have learned multiplication long ways and short ways.Doing it long ways is with a grid.First you expand the first number that you are multiplying {factors}and then you multiply the number you expanded.Like 56 and 42 you would multiply 50 and 40=2,000.Then you would multiply 50 and 2=100.Next you would multiply 6 and 40=240 then multiply 6 and 2=12.Then add up 112+2,240 and get the answer that’s how you do it the long ways.Short ways is a little easier cover up the 4 and multiply 6 and 2=12 put the 2 under the 2 and carry the the1 above the 5.Then you x out the the 2 and 1 and multiply 4 and 6=24 so you put the 4 down carry the 2.Then do 5 and 4=20+2=22.For multiplication the answer to a multiplication problem is called a product.

Golden retrievers make excellent pets.They’re great swimmers.If you throw a toy way out in the water they will swim out and get it that is how good they are at swimming.Golden retrivers love to play once they start to play they can’t stop.They can live up to 10 to 12 years of age.They also need to exercise because they can gain weight easily.

When  someone is having a bad day you could go cheer them up.You could also go  sit  with them at lunch.When you see a person who is having trouble with something it’s always best to help them with it. And if someone is picking on them or someone else don’t just stand there go get a teacher or someone else. Be a great friend and play with them and if someone asks you to play with them don’t just walk away be kind and play with them.But don’t talk to them to much because if you do you will get in trouble but if u want to communicate better invite them over to your house or lunch or recess and that’s how you be a good friend.
